This book didn't immediately draw me in but, as I kept reading, the story began to grow on me. The character if Jamie is interesting; she fled her hometown and her mother and sister as soon as she could but she never was able to escape her feelings of guilt over the stabbing that forever changed her sister's life, that could have changed her life if her sister wouldn't have switched babysitting with her. Now that her mother is gone, she moves back to her hometown with her daughter Harley to care for her sister, Emma. I am interested to see where the story goes and what information we learn about what really happened to Emma.
