As a long time horror movie fan, this is the perfect book. It was sarcastic, features strong women who could make amazing final girls, and of course the creepy trope of being vulnerable in someone else’s house. All crammed carefully into the first few pages. I love the sibling banter between Emma and Jamie. The the moment when Jamie sees a dark shadow across the room made my blood tingle with excitement.
