The cover is so great! I also like the writing--Alyan's prose is lovely and this excerpt flows nicely. Unfortunately--and this is primarily a subjective thing--this just isn't the book for me at this time. Nothing I'd be able to put my finger on, but I'm just not compelled to read the whole thing.
