After reading the prologue, I wasn’t sure this was a book I'd enjoy, but I pressed on. The introduction of Ava and her parents, Mazda and Idris made the book seem a lot more relatable, since who doesn’t get exasperated with their parents? I’m curious too...is this the Mazda that Zakaria dreamed of marrying? Add in Ava’s discovery of Nathan’s indiscretion and it seems like a book with a lot of future drama.
