I like the cover a lot. It pulls me in and makes me want to know more. The black background contrasted with the brighter red and blue is interesting. As for the book itself, it had quite a strong beginning. The prologue had me on the edge of my seat. The first official chapter was just as good. I love books about family dynamics, especially realistic ones, and this seems like the perfect book for that. The characters feel real and I'm excited to read more.
