For a long time I was really looking forward to this book. I was trying everything to get my hands onnan advanced copy, and finally I traded one of my favorite books for it. Maybe because there was so much build up I was bound to be let down I don't know. I love the cover, and the setting is great but I had a hard time staying focused and staying in the book. I felt like I knew what was going on right away but I didn't really know what I was supposed to think about the characters, how I felt about them.
To be fair even though I felt like I knew what was going on, i did want to keep reading to see if I was right. As in mentioned before, the setting is really well done so much that I felt I had been there before.
I think this is a perfectly good book, I just had it built up too much in my head.
