So far, the writing seems a little stiff. I hope that as we get to know Hetty more the writing becomes warmer and more intimate. However, the synopsis really seems like the story will be interesting. I would love to read more to see if there's a love story between Lucy and Hetty, how the "ghosts" come into play, and if the rampant sexism is overcome. I want Hetty's superiors and her mother to suffer consequences for their rudeness and cruelty. I thought the cover was very nice.
