Love the eyecatching cover artwork (the background color, the animal silhouette and the birds). Strongly reminiscent of Jane Eyre (my all time fave hist novel), from the name of the Manor (Lockwood, Lowood School), to the status of unloved orphan ( adoptive mother, evil Aunt Mrs. Reed), to the spinster life, the love of books, and the mystery of course...what's not to love?
