The Angel Maker had so much potential! The premise was so interesting, intriguing and mysterious. And it's ALEX NORTH. How exciting. But eventually it fell flat for me.
There are many characters and POV's which is not my favorite way to read a novel. The story goes back and forth in time and there is a lot happening. There are paranormal activities and it's about a serial killer who can see the future. It's chilling and creepy and VERY dark. The twists are puzzling and captivating, you find yourself turning the pages as you speed through!
Katie Shaw carries the burden of her past; one split second decision changed everything for her and resulted in the near-death experience of her little brother. It's haunting to see how one small thing can change more than one life. Now her brother is in trouble, and she wants to make amends for the past!
There were some unanswered questions at the end. If you like true crime, you might enjoy this book more than I did. 3 stars.
