The Angel Maker by Alex North was a mind-bender for me. Full of twists and turns, all of which kept my brain turning to keep up. The non-linear timeline and multiple narrators also had me on my toes. And, to top it all off, North explored the idea of determinism, and whether our future is determined from the beginning of your life. There is a lot here, and trying to discuss it might reveal spoilers. I found it interesting unraveling the story and trying to figure out how the characters were connected and how North presented the story.
This is a spooky thriller/mystery that will keep you challenged as you barrel to the unexpected conclusion. I enjoy North's writing style and can't wait to see what he comes up with next.
