I received this book from Celadon at the beginning of the year and was excited to read it. Based on the author’s previous books this one was lined up to be another hit. I was disappointed. I ended up a third of the way through and it didn’t grab my attention and hold it. I stopped reading it with the intentions of picking it back up later, and restarted it again a few weeks ago.
Honestly, I’m struggling to even finish it and am half way through.

Katie and Chris
Pettifer and Laurence
Alan and Edward
They all eventually tie together I’m sure, but none of them seem well developed as characters and their stories aren’t captivating enough for me to want to know more about what ends up happening to them.
A lot of other have said they loved this book but I really feel like it’s It’s just not for me………………………………………………………..
