After reading and absolutely loving The Whisper Man and The Shadows, I was excited to see that Alex North has written another one. It's an automatic yes from me. After reading the prologue, I was immediately pulled into the story. Kate lives in a beautiful home and has the ideal boyfriend and a little brother she protected fiercely. Until one day, she made a decision that she would soon regret forever. Instead of walking her brother home, she spends an extra hour with her boyfriend, and her brother Chris is violently attacked by a stranger. Decades later, Kate and Sam are married with a child of their own when Kate receives a phone call that her brother is missing. I can't wait to read more!
