"If you could see the future would you want to?" at the very beginning of the book is a theme that has been explored in several books I've read in the past few years -- and still a very interesting premise, so my attention was captured right away. I'm not a huge fan of the back-and-forth in time style, but with a mystery, I suppose it's a useful tool. I have to say I'm a little confused at the moment, as I assumed Chris had been killed in the prologue, but it seems he makes an appearance years later. My curiosity has been piqued enough for me to want to keep reading!
