Reading through this First Look, I was reminded a bit of the movie "The Invisible Man" about a woman who tries to outwit her abusive husband who has recently acquired the ability to become (unsurprisingly) invisible. "The Angel Maker" has the same vibe of exploring the idea of what happens when we are helpless in the face of power and how the past catches up to you.
