I'm familiar with Alex North's writing - I read The Whisper Man years ago and enjoyed the book and North's style of writing. Just like The Whisper Man, The Angel Maker draws you in with its fast pacing and mysterious atmosphere. The way the first scene is written is spooky and gripping, and it had me anxious for more! I want to see how the story unfolds and if the rest of the book is as scary as these few chapters. I think I will like this story very much and possibly as much as The Whisper Man if the rest of the book is similar to its beginning.
