Wow- North’s third book wastes no time in drawing in the reader! The timelines of past and present are set up and the characters come to life immediately!
The bantering dialogue works well to lessen some of the initial tension and I think this will only continue throughout the remainder of the novel. I definitely want to keep reading and am thoroughly hooked!
North’s debut novel was one of my favorites of 2019 and ever since, I have eagerly awaited more! I enjoyed North’s second novel as well, and have been looking forward to reading this one since before it even existed!!
