Oooh...this seems right up my alley. I love the premise. I feel like it has enough mystery with a sprinkling of the supernatural. So I assume this is NOT a young adult novel, but I do like the idea of a story progressing from childhood and picking up back at adulthood. I already know that I'm going to be writhing in pain trying to figure out the secret (but that's the best part of a mystery novel).
