So I usually steer clear of mystery/thriller because I'm a sucker for romance and fantasy, but North's Angel Maker is too attractive ugh.

The premise by itself is attention-grabbing. I'm super curious about this serial killer, and I expect North wants to say more about time and changing the future. Very interested in that too.

I thought North balanced dialogue and narration super well because there's a nice rhythm between conversations and filling the gaps with extra info or description. It naturally came off the page for me. Then Katie's premonitions brought me closer to her because it circles back to her guilt, paranoia, and on a separate note, the topic of seeing the future, so I thought it was cool to read into her premonitions this way.

The cover's pretty cool. I like the angel's wing as a substitute for a flame.
