I have read two of Alex North's books prior to this excerpt and loved both so I may be biased, but this seems to be a great beginning to another can't-put-it-down story. The excerpt begins with a prologue in which a young (17 year old) girl that makes a decision she will regret for the rest of her life. My heart immediately went out to her and felt her pain. The story moved on from there and I was left wanting more. I can't wait to read the rest!
