I really enjoyed reading the preview of this story. The plot centers around a woman named Katie Shaw whose brother Chris goes missing. Katie was very protective of her brother Chris growing up and would do anything to help him. The story also features Detective Laurence Page who is investigating the brutal murder of a professor, whose case seems to be connected to both Katie's brother and a serial killer. This story is definitely intriguing and the author succeeded in gripping my attention within the first couple of pages. The cover of the book is also eerie and mysterious.
