Oh wow, Alex North has written a compelling page-turner if this sneak peek is anything to go by. It appears to have a past and present timeline. The past centering on an attempted murder and the current timeline the comeuppance of that attempted murder, or so I assume. The writing is clever and concise with a sense of foreboding that has me begging for more. I can't wait to read this book.
