Not her best book in my opinion.

I love Susan Isaacs books and have never complained about anything but this one was just okay. It was the same plot throughout the book except for Corie's wonderful marriage to Josh and his daughter who she actually got along with. Corie's an ex-FBI Agent from the JTTF task force who is now a translator for books which it seems she never really liked but she wanted to be a wife and mother for her stepdaughter.

It got tedious after a while and her ex-FBI Agent job came in handy with the plot of the book over and over again. It stars with a lunch once a week with stay at home business people and Pete just gets under her skin for some reason and can't put her finger on it and starts investigating.

I have to admit that I skipped a chunk of the book about 50 pages to go which I never do.
