I enjoyed this book because of the writing and that you were figuring out what was going on at the same time as Corie was. I like the struggle Corie goes through adjusting to life as a SAH mom and trying to leave the FBI behind.
This book has lots of intrigue, twists and turns and action. When Corie is trying to figure out what's up with one of her lunch group people she relies on her FBI training and a little help from her dad, former NYPD cop to determine if she needs to alert someone about a possible threat.
As she struggles with herself and her prior training she becomes so involved that she becomes a hostage to the one person she's been investigating. I like that she's a strong woman and struggles to fit into her new role.
