She uses her Arabic skills to read Arabic books for publishers. She grudgingly attends a Wednesday lunch group where she hides her background and what she did before marriage.
The two major themes in this book are the mystery of whether there is more to Pete Delaney and Corie examining whether she is really happy with her marriage to Josh and her life in Shorehaven. The book had some pacing issues and I got bored in the middle and considered not finishing. The ending brought excitement and the resolution of both themes, one not entirely to my satisfaction.
