Love Susan Isaacs and 'Takes One to Know One' does not disappoint! I was absolutely caught up in Corie's struggles as an 'instant' mom in her new marriage and in her whole-hearted attempts at loving a much quieter life after the adrenaline rush of being an FBI agent. But old habits die hard, and Corie can't help but notice that one among them is a tad left of center. Following her instincts, Corie starts to unravel the tiny threads left by Pete, who is a little too carefully 'everyman/anyman'. With the assistance of her retired police officer father and some sleuthing, Corie is convinced that Pete may be living two very different lives. Just as she's involved her contacts at the FBI, Corie realizes that she has not covered her own trail well enough. Fantastic read!
