“It takes one to know one” ... the secret life of the suburbs! Crime and lies and drugs... where you expect open cars left in the drive and paper boys on their bikes, toys left on the lawn.... I love the funny descriptive type of storytelling. The plot feels to be clever and amusing. From just the first pages I can tell that I would be willing to sacrifice sleep time to find out what’s happening next?! Is the neighbour innocent? Is she discovering a crime or an entire series of events and crimes? Will she get to do the arrest and go back to working with the FBI? Is the investigation going to affect her family life by bringing someone from the past in the present? All in all worth reading for sure.
