I thought Takes One to Know One was really well written. I love books that take you on a journey of self discovery so to speak. The main character went from working in the FBI to basically being a stay at home mother to her step daughter. When life got a little boring as how could it not when your previous life was working for the FBI, she took matters into her own hands to uncover the truth when the package designer seems to be completely up to no good. I say this to be self discovery because I love when a book does two things: solves a mystery and also tells you that a woman can do anything her heart desires. It’s almost like a boost of confidence reading books like this. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a slight mystery and a take on learning to appreciate life no matter if it’s not in the direction you had initially intended it to go.
