I loved this book even more than I thought I would. It was complex, and entertaining. It has some unexpected twists and turns that will leave you gaping for air. I always love a good thrilling mystery. It was well written and I really engaged with the characters.
I admit it started off pretty slow, but the suspense just keeps building, and after a few chapters, it’s very difficult it put down.
The pace of the second half of the book is fast and action-filled. When FBI agent Corie emerges, the speed and content of the story reflect that change. That part of the story grabs the reader’s attention and doesn’t let go until the killer is caught.
If you are a reader that is okay
with a slow pace story or are willing to power through the first half of the story, you will enjoy the thrill of the second half of the novel.
