Cozy More than Thriller
So, this review might not be so fair, because I thought that when I picked this book up, I was getting an action-packed, dangerous thriller. But that wasn't the intended story-line.
This book is a cozy mystery, without many action-packed scenes and dangerous getaways.
It follows Corie, a former FBI agent, as she pursues a suspicious figure. The book focuses heavily on her father and family and acquaintances, which I found a little slow at times. But again, this isn't for people who want action and suspense and danger.
So don't go into this book expecting to be on the edge of your seat until the very last page.
If you want a sit-down, cozy and family-oriented "thriller" this is the book for you.
