I have to admit, I have a soft spot for authors who can make me visualize a dream with just one paragraph and believe an already-in-progress love story in just a couple pages, which is exactly what happens in the excerpt. In these pages, I've already gotten a good feel for the characters — and I'm just as suspicious of Pete as Corie is. I can't wait to see how this unfolds!
