Suburban Spy
Corie's retired from her career in the FBI and settled down in suburbia with her husband Josh and his daughter, Eliza. But after a high intensity, high pressure life, Corie is beyond bored in her new life. She signs on to participate in a group of fellow community members who work from home - her new job is reviewing Arabic books for publication in the U.S. - and starts finding reasons to think one of her fellow group members isn't what he seems. This book could be interesting, but is as boring as the charts Corie is tuning out in the opening chapter. Plus I think the subtle references to Du Maurier's Rebecca are weird, unless they're going to build into something later in the book.
