The cover really doesn't inspire me, but those first paragraphs left me wanting to read the book now. I always enjoy reading about women as law enforcement personnel, simply because we don't see enough of them. This former gent wants keep her former occupation to herself, and I do respect her for that. Really, our neighbor don't need to know every aspect of our lives.I do hope her curiosity bout that man in the cafe doesn't lead her or her family into a dangerous situation.
