A former FBI agent turned suburbanite stepmom...is she looking for excitement or does an unassuming guy in her freelance group hiding something shady? The premise is promising and the first 17 pages were fine, but my interest isn't peaked yet. That may not be a fair assessment of the novel, but I don't think it's a book I'd continue reading.
