The simple, though a little bloody, cover drew my attention. The synopsis made me curious. The natural writing of the first chapter has made me interested in the rest of the story. The characters seem like they could be my next door neighbors (if I lived in a more affluent part of town), and I can't wait to see what's uncovered in this book.
