This was a bit short for me to feel like I really have a grip on what the book will be like, but based on this excerpt I found it interesting. The beginning had a bit too much detail about mundane things, such as an entire paragraph mostly about the the main character's husband's aftershave or more details than I needed about college for the two of them. But, once it got into more of the story, I because intrigued. I keep trying to come up with reasons in my head for Pete's behavior, so I would imagine if I continued reading the book I would be trying to guess the entire time. I'd give it a read. As a side note, I know that the excerpt is a not finished piece, but the lack of just basic spacing between words was really distracting.
