Cover first: I could take or leave the cover. It's nice, and definitely intriguing, but I didn't feel anything particularly strong about it.
I think this author has created such an amazing character voice. I already love Corie. I can't wait to read more about her life. Definitely a book I would pick up later even if I didn't win.
