So I didn't care too much for the cover of the book, but the story within it was really engaging right away! It started off great with a sympathetic protagonist (Corie) who is often in her head, probably like many readers! The author gives the reader a very good feel of Corie's current predictable life and bland world just before throwing in the enticing possibility of a mystery--something Corie clearly needs in her life right now. I would love to read more!
