I think this book has the potential to be a witty, fast-paced suspense story, the excerpt kind of flings a lot at you so I'd have to read more to know how it all settles out. The notion of an FBI agent turned literary agent could be fun, depending on how well-rounded the character turns out to be aside from her crazy career change.
