Though I didn’t win the giveaway, I still found this book to be interesting. I do like the format Ellen Hopkins uses with the poetry format: a creative break to something new, rather than the traditional aligned right type. I found the story interesting with the sibling connections and them not being able to see each other. The path to find the other one and the conflicts, pain and thoughts that our characters go through. As I said in the first impression, it’s great to see Hopkins back in action. I’ve read all her books, but the “Crank” series stuck out to me the most. And even better with this story that some people can find relatable with a sibling connection. I felt a better connection with Storm, mostly due to his wanting to fight for others (ex with what happened to Jaidyn.) Lake at times I liked, but I was more intrigued with Storm. 4.5 stars for me.
