Okay, these past few months, I have been eating up the Fosters TV show that came out on Freeform years and years ago. It's not good tv, the characters aren't lovable and they make bad decisions that leave you screaming at the tv at their stupidity. So when I read the blurb of this book, and what it detailed, I was hooked and could not wait to read it.
However, it just was not for me. The harsh topics that were covered in this were barely mentioned and then we moved onto a new topic or plot point. Our twins; relationship and them being in 'sync' (and that being the book's title), I expected a little bit more of a synchronized connection between the two. I just finished the book feeling kinda disappointed and overall let down.
Lastly, this cover most definitely does not look like a YA cover you would see, it's more an adult cover.
