It's Ellen Hopkins, a master storyteller who spins her stories with prose. I think stories told with prose create a more emotional and intense experience. Looking at this story, I like how twins have a special bond and to have that bond broken has to be devasting. When life gets in the way, its difficult but when others intrude or when you lose control, it's mind-blowing. To live with the unknown is hard especially when you've had the connection before. To tell this story with prose will be an emotional journey.
