Based on my first impression, the cover itself seems to hold lots of intrigue and is very mysterious. The seventeen-year-old twins Storm and Lake seem to have always been in sync. I don't want to predict what happens to them but I predict that one of them will get hurt in the future. Facing abuse from their parents and being able to over come it is a very difficult feat. However, they were able to accomplish it. After the abuse from their mother they spent the next five years moving from foster home to foster home, sometimes not even being place together.
Books told in dual perspectives always hold much more depth since we are able to hear from both character and receive both sides of the story. They talked through unsent letters. I imagine there will be much heartbreaking new while reading this book. However, it is always nice to be able to connect to the characters in a book. Making you feel like you are being represented.
