As soon as I read sexual assault in the description, I knew this wasn't going to be the book for me. That topic is something that I, personally, cannot handle in my fiction. It's definitely something that should be written about, similarly to the foster care system which is also an aspect of this book, it just isn't something I am currently able to read. I hope those who do pick this up enjoy their reading experience.
