I used to read all of Ellen Hopkins books. I love the poetic format and the heavy hitting topics. It appears that this one will be similar for both of those things. Super excited to read her newest book. I now work in social work in inpatient psychiatry and meet a lot of kids in similar situations to the ones she writes about, which definitely makes it even more emotional.
