This is such a beautifully written book. I was absorbed from the very first story. I love how each segment is written like a letter or a poem. I can feel all this character's sadness, and loneliness, his desire to be reunited with his twin sister. The theme feels heavy but so relatable. It is important for children who have been through this generational trauma and the foster care system to have a voice.
