I'm a huge fan of Ellen Hopkins so I'm already really excited about her upcoming new release. I wasn't disappointed with the first peek either. She stays true to herself and I loved the snippet.

First, I really loved the cover. The sideways sunset alludes to the off center world that you are probably going to enter knowing Hopkin's previous YA books. Also, while the poetry of her writing doesn't appeal to all, I really love it. Most times poetry is hit or miss for me but I always seem to devour Hopkin's work. Thrown right into the story of our separated twins, I can feel the injustice and immediately sympathize with our characters. The detail provides me with images and lives that I want to be involved in, even if that is just to find our where our story goes. With such a small snippet, I can't wait to finish reading when the full book is released to find out what the rest of the story entails.
