Novels in verse live in a special place in my heart. Ellen Hoskins wrote the first novels in verse I would ever read and I can wait to read another. In this book Ellen is writing what she’s best at, teens in difficult situations going through a lot and dealing with their mental health along the way. I am excited to see her take on teens going through the foster system as I was adopted as a baby myself.
