I'm a huge fan of Ellen Hopkins and reading this was very exciting. I love the way she's not afraid to write about characters going through hard walks of life, and makes you love them and care for them and understand that even when they do bad things they're not bad people. I'm very interested to see where Storm and Lake's story goes from here. So far, I've really enjoyed getting to know them and I'm sure there's much more growing up and learning about themselves to come. I enjoy the way she writes in verse and is able to give you just the right details about their lives in only a few lines. I can't wait to read more.
