this book was so very good! i have never read anything quite like it, and this is one of those books that you can't help thinking about even after you've finished reading it, because the world was so immersive and there were so many new concepts and plot points to wrap your head around (but in a good way)!
i have to admit, it was a bit confusing in the beginning, and it certainly takes a bit of time to get acclimated to all the inner workings of the story, BUT keep going and all of the initially confusing stuff will pave the way to a gripping story!
i really appreciated the combination of genres --- i mean, this could be categorized as everything from a YA sci fi novel to a surreal piece of literary fiction, and that's the beauty of it. everyone who reads it will interpret the wonderful oddities as something different, and this will definitely be one of those books that i remember the plot of, even years after reading it!
