I am always down to read a novel that plays with time. I am also partial to this book as the dedication is to the class of 2020 and that’s me (a sad end to college years for sure). I was also hooked from the very first line: “we have arrived at a fold in time and space.”

This is one of the most unique books that I have ever read. The writing style takes a bit to get used to and I could see that hindering many people from enjoying this one. If you choose to read this, just be prepared to be confused as heck for most of it!

Switch is an intriguing social commentary on how focused our society is on working and not “wasting” time on “unproductive” things, like connecting with other humans. In essence, vulnerability is essential to humanity. Wecan’t solve our problems but building walls and blocking them and each other out, so share your feelings, share you stories...it is as important now as ever.
